Basic Photo Composition

Simplicity
This is simplicity by the background not distracting the viewer from the focal point of the photo which is the woman in yellow.

Rule of Thirds:

This represents the rule of thirds because the man is the focal point of the photo and he is focused on the left side of the photo.

Lines:













This shows lines by the windows on the building that frame the man falling.

Balance:

This photo shows balance by both of the Twin Towers being on fire. It's not just on of them it's both so your eye is drawn to both and not just one.

Framing:


This shows framing by the building leading our eyes to focus on the building that is full of smoke.

Avoiding Mergers:

This is a merger because the background is so busy that you can't focus on the focal point of the photo which is the woman.
