1. You can look up the location on Google Maps or just google it. 2. You can use Google Maps. 3. The background and foreground can appear to be very close together. 4. You can use a ND grad filter. 5. Take a waterproof bag, cleaning cloths, and a microfiber towel. 6. Pre-scouting helps because it allows you to see the different elements of the back and foreground. 7. Subject because nature doesn't always follow the rules of composition. It is more important to make sure the focal point of the photo is perfect than making sure you have rule of thirds in the photo. 8. Pick the main focal point of the photo and then add other elements one by one. 9. It is very hard to get a photo when it is a heavy cloudy sky day. Sometimes the photo looks 10 times better if it's in black and white because the weather or lighting may have been bad. 10. Portfolio Analysis

Part 1 Video 1: A) The photographer is Travis Haughton. B) The focus of this portfolio is to show athletes playing their sports and having a few random people going through everyday life.  C) Back of the head dominating the photo, one of the photos needed a caption to help explain the photo, missing the point of the photo.  D) Photos don't looked staged and there is depth to their photo.  E) I think the photographer is a better sports photographer than an everyday photographer. Some of his everyday photos were so random in the fact that he completely missed to point of the photo, but besides that I think he has the right idea of what he wants to take he just needs to do a better job of executing the photos.  1)  Video 2:  A) The photographer is Josh Birnbaum. B) I think the main focus of this portfolio was to get as many good photos of what ever he could but towards the end it took a turn by just focusing on the story of one guy....

Website 1: This website talked about 10 resolutions to do for the New Year to be a better photographer. Some of the tips were to become more organized and to get useful critique. I learned that I need to be more confident in my photo skills so I'm able to take more better quality photo's that I'm happy with. 1. I picked this photo because of how eye drawing it was compared to the rest of the photos on the website. 2. Leading lines by the yellow lines on the road and framing of the women by the edges of the road. 3. Jenna Martin Website 2: This website talked about many different photos of some of the oldest living things in the world.
