1. You can look up the location on Google Maps or just google it. 2. You can use Google Maps. 3. The background and foreground can appear to be very close together. 4. You can use a ND grad filter. 5. Take a waterproof bag, cleaning cloths, and a microfiber towel. 6. Pre-scouting helps because it allows you to see the different elements of the back and foreground. 7. Subject because nature doesn't always follow the rules of composition. It is more important to make sure the focal point of the photo is perfect than making sure you have rule of thirds in the photo. 8. Pick the main focal point of the photo and then add other elements one by one. 9. It is very hard to get a photo when it is a heavy cloudy sky day. Sometimes the photo looks 10 times better if it's in black and white because the weather or lighting may have been bad. 10. Car Raid

1. Gabi Bole 2. On our car ride to school. 3. -What is a must must have object in your car? Why?     - What kind of music do you like to listen to when you drive? Why?     - Why do you have ____ in the back of your car? Why?     - What is the weirdest thing you have in your car? Why is it in your car? 4. I expect to get the basic things you would expect to have in a car but I think I can also get some different things because I will be interviewing a student athlete. With being a student athlete lives can get very busy so I might be able to get some different details that the average person wouldn't have.

Great B&W Photographers Part 3

Photo 1      Photo 2    1. What caught my eye about these photos is how much was going on and how you could see a story unfolding in the photo. In the first photo I can see how much work is put into this persons business. In the second photo I can see a family running this business with their kids complaining that they have to be there to help out.  2. - I see 2 hard working successful businesses.      - I smell either gasoline and oil or seafood.      - I hear people talking and having a good time (2) and metal crashing down on the ground when         someone drops it (1).        - I taste many different kinds of fish (2) and sweat coming from my body in the hot summer sun (1).      - I feel tired from a long day at work in the sun. When I first saw this photo I caught a glimpse of what like was like back 50-60 years ago. Life was simple. You got up, went to work, get paid, and come home to your family. These people weren't caught up in drama from technology
